Dr. Farhad Shokoohi brings over 30 years of experience in ophthalmology, retinal vitreous surgery and diseases. He obtained his medical degree from NUI and completed his residence in
ophthalmology at the Kresge Eye Institute at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, and fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery and diseases at the University of Texas, Houston.

Dr. Shokoohi is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is an assistant clinical professor at Michigan State University, College of Human medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Retinal Specialists, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, member of Michigan State Medical Society, Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, Saginaw County Medical Society, and the Saginaw Surgical Society.
